A beautiful pair of hanging earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These?exquisite earrings are made of 15kt rose and yellow gold (15kt indicates English origin). Each earring is?comprised of a decorative gold hoop and ball design that hangs from an elaborate open?surmount. The front surface of each hoop and?surmount is decorated with a fine etched design, mixed metals leaf accents, and a row of delicate sparkling Rose Cut diamonds that are held in flower-shaped settings. Dangling freely inside each hoop is a smooth gold ball, which give the piece lovely movement when worn. Very lightweight and comfortable to wear, these gorgeous earrings hang from simple gold?wires attached to the clover-shaped topper. Perfect for any Victorian collection, they look incredible when worn and make a beautiful statement!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2" long. The surmount measures 5/8" wide at the widest point. The open hoops measure 1/4" wide across the front and have a 7/8" diameter. The gold balls inside measure 13mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, etched detail, or mixed metals accents. All of the diamonds are intact, and the earring wires are secure and in good condition.
