A gorgeous sardonyx and diamond cameo ring from the Edwardian?(ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow?gold, this striking piece adorns an oval shaped sardonyx?cameo at the center of a lovely setting. Resting atop the smoothly polished rich, black stone is a wonderful?profile of a Native American chief hand carved into the bright white layer of the sardonyx. The details are fantastic, including his stoic facial expression, textured?headdress, and beautifully detailed feathers that line the back of his head and neck. The striking bezel set cameo is surrounded by a smoothly polished wide border, and decorating each shoulder are 3 sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds. The gorgeous?bezel set stones graduate slightly in size and rest within the center of the open wirework stacked band, allowing the light to catch their facets beautifully with every turn. The band tapers near the back and stamped inside of the shank is a maker's mark beside a "750" gold purity mark, and stamped on the back of the centerpiece is an "EB" maker's mark separated by the
